        Hello everyone . Today's practice was planned in  Joybori Kalon madrasa   at 10:30 . The weather is cool and sunny ☀️ . After all of us got together, we started the practice leadership of our intern Bahodir Jalilov.

     Joybori Kalon madrasa (Zhoybor madrasa, Madrasai Joybor, Khoja Joybori Kalon madrasa, Ayposhsha Ayim madrasa) - madrasa of Bukhara. During the time of the Uzbek ruler Abdulaziz Khan (1645-1681), it was built in Havzi nav guzar of Joybor district in the capital of the Khanate under the donation of his mother Podshah. It was one of the most prestigious and prestigious madrasahs in Bukhara.

      It was built by the decree of the governor Abdulaziz Khan, and it is said that Abdulaziz Khan's mother Ayposhsha Bibi was involved in the construction of the madrasa . Even on the official site of the Joybori Kalon madrasa, it is written that the educational institution was established during the reign of Subhonkulikhon . However, in 1670-1671, when the madrasa was built, Subhonquli Khan was not yet the ruler.


     According to one of the historical documents, a room from the Joybori Kalon madrasa was rented for 18 gold.

    During the Soviet era, the activity of teaching students in the madrasa was terminated, and it was turned into a barn, then a bakery, and then a place where glassware was received .  As a result, the madrasah became abandoned.

   The activity of the madrasa was resumed on September 1, 1992. Now it is functioning as the Islamic secondary school for women and girls of Joybori Kalon . In it, students learn religious and secular subjects in the course of the lesson. 


There were 13-16 mudarris  who taught in the Madrasah of Joybori Kalon, and they received a salary of 35-50/55  gold depending on the total number and category of mudarris in the madrasa. Since the teachers belonged to different categories, their salaries also differed from each other .
Historical sources contain a lot of information about the Madrasa of Joybori Kalon.  Muhammad Sharif Makhdum informed that it was built by Princess Ayposhsha. It was one of the most prestigious and prestigious madrasahs in Bukhara . His library has more than 8,000 books .
During the reign of Abdulaziz Khan (1645-1681), it was built in Havzi nav guzar of Dzhoybor district in the capital of the khanate under the donation of his mother Podshah and was named "Dzhoybor" as a reference to the queen's lineage.
Some researchers unjustifiably doubted that this madrasa was built by Potshah Ayyim . For example, according to L. Asrorova, the Joybori Kalon madrasa was established by the decree of the governor of Bukhara, Abdulaziz Khan, during the reign of the Uzbek ruler Subhonkulikhon (1680-1702).

     The annual endowment of the madrasa was 130,000 tanga .The provision of madrasa mudarris and students is separated from the rest of the waqf funds specified in the waqfnama from the expenses spent on the repair of the madrasa, the amount of its share is clearly defined in the waqf document. We met here with our teacher Inobat Zoirovna, afterwards we began the practice . Firstly, assalom alekum everyone        I'm glad to see you. Today on March 24th we started our practice. It was sunny weather .  Today's destination was The mosque "Said po Bandi Kusho" . The practice was organized at 10:00 and we came here in time. Before long our teacher arrived , we went on the practice. The mosque "Said po Bandi Kusho" located on Khorezm Street in Bukhara was named after Hazrat Said Abulhasan. Hazrat Said Abulhasan po Band died in 395 Hijri (1004 AD). The genealogy goes back to Hazrat Imam Hasan (r.a.) through nine links. In the book "Tuhfat az-Zairin" the following genealogy is given: "Shaykh Syedul Imam Abulhasan Muhammad bin Ali bin al Husayn bin al Hasan bin al Qasim bin Muhammad bin al Qasim bin al Hasan bin Zayd bin al Hasan bin Ali bin Abu Talib may Allah be pleased with him. , the mashoyiki sect and the truth." Kukaldosh madrasah 🕌

      Assalom alekum everybody ☺️🌷. Have a good day 💞. In the present our the 8th practice was Kukaldosh madrasah . The practice organized at 10:00 🕙 and we got together beside the Labi - Havuz ansamble. The weather is clear and sunny 🌞. Firstly our teacher Inobat Zoirovna checked our diaries moreover we began our practice.       Kukeldash Madrasah in Bukhara  is a part of architectural ensemble of Lyabi Hauz. It was constructed in the 16 th  century in line with the order of the influential cleric Kulbaby Kukeltash.     Kukeldash Madrasah was the first building in Lyabi Hauz square. It was constructed a half century before hauz itself. Abdulla-khan II from Sheibanids dynasty ruled at that time. Madrasah was a kind of symbol of the Khanate’s power.
