Practice 9 Firstly assalom alaykum everybody . Destination of our 9th practical day is  Toqi Telpak Furushon  . Some of our classmates informed on it . Also our intern Sabina Sharipovna checked our tasks and marked. She explained the mistakes. Then we visited to the Trade dome . The Toki Telpak Furushon is another 16th-century covered market, where the trade was actively conducted. Toki Telpak Furushon literally means "a dome of hats and headdresses". This meaning shows that the main objects of sale were the headdress, turbans and hats. Gold embroidered, fur or beaded hats were very popular among the local population, and foreign merchants. Long before the appearance of trade shops with hats, there was a dome with merchants of old books. After they were replaced by souvenir shops of local artisans, where musical instruments, knives and other souvenirs were sold. Once, there was a "caravan-sarai Kulyuta" near the Furuschon dome. It served as a recreational house on...

Practice 10. Good afternoon 😊 🧡. Today we had a practice again. At the 10th of our practice we have been to the Toqi Zargoron.  It was our last practice. We decided to enter  and observe all things there . The Toki-Zargaron dome   is translated as "the dome of jewelers". This is an indoor market located at the crossroads of the once busy shopping streets of Bukhara. The dome of Toki-Zargaron was built first in 1586-1587 by Abdulla Khan. The complex was intended for jewelry trade. Previously, there were 36 jewelry shops in the shops selling a variety of ornaments. Today, you can buy souvenirs, painted shawls, household items in the Bukhara style, and just like in the old days various unique ornaments. This trading dome of Bukhara is rightfully considered the largest indoor bazaar in the city. Another feature of Toki Zargaron is the shape of the dome - it is extended upwards, and has vertical bulging ribs . The establishment of Bukhara as one of  the most imp...

Hello everybody 😊 . Now I am going to talk about our today's practice. Firstly the practice was planned at 11 beside the Ark fortress. After we met there, we went to the Boloi-Hauz. It was near the Ark fortress.  Registan - a central city square - was a typical part of all the Central Asian cities. Bukhara had its Registan, too; it was located across from The Ark Fortress. There were a lot of public buildings in the square: mosques and trade chambers; an administrative office and a hospital. However, only one of Registan structures has survived into the present. It is Bolo Hauz Complex. Its construction began in the 17th сentury at the instigation of the Bukhara emir Shahmurad. He wanted to show his people he was not different from an ordinary man and decided to build a public mosque he himself was going to visit for Friday prayers. Bolo Hauz means ‘children’s pond ’. Water has always been short in Central Asia, so they used to build ponds serving as drinking water source f...

Hi everybody 👋🏻. Today we held our practice at the ancient zindan  beside the Ark. First of all our group collected opposite of the Ark and we went to the zindan. By there the way was little far . Even though the dungeon devastated, the weapons of there saved in the raw.  One of the most important monuments of Bukhara is Zindan of Emir that attracts people with its mystery. This one of the most enigmatic monuments of Bukhara was built in the 18th century. "Zindan" in Persian means "prison", "prison", "well for the detention." The prison was built in the northwest corner of Shahristan and consisted of several chambers of debt, the cooler and dungeon, laid of brick with a diameter of about 5 meters and a depth of 6.5 meters. This place used to keep dangerous criminals. Zindan is a pit, which is located under the ground, it is in Shakhristan. The prison contained not more than 40 people; you can understand that in the city of Bukhara, as it is n...

5.12.22 Hello everybody from me 🙋🏻🖐🏻. Today we began the second week of our practice. The weather was so cold , that some of girls became frozen. So did our hands. After we waited for Sabina Sharipovna. Even though she was late, we continued our practice.   Today's practice was choosen the Ark fortress.  The city’s oldest structure is an enormous military fortress with 20-meter high walls that, on the inside, includes an entire city hence the name ‘Ark’. Inside is not as impressive as the outside as it has simply not much to offer After come, we watched and took photo each thing . There were very many historical objects.  We came up above of the Ark. At the over the sight was exquisite 😍. Soon we went to the Jome' mosque . This mosque was restored in 2009 with the help of the US embassy in Uzbekistan. It had different arabian books, writings ,  pictures and also  frame of the Koran. Also  We went to the greeting courtyard, The Throne Hall a...

Today, we went to the ancient Blacksmith museum with our group leadership of our intern Sabina Sharipovna. At first out teacher inspected our homeworks . After we entered the museum. The museum was very wonderful and filled of ancient things. The Blacksmith History Forge Museum is a short walk north of the Toqi Telpak Furushon Bazaar on Khakikat Street. The museum is located in the Kulyuta karavansarai which was built in the 16th century. Admission is free, and it is a rare treat to see a working blacksmith. Photos  can be taken and you can stroll through the workshop to view finished goods and the tools of the blacksmith. The most impressive area is the urn shaped hearth with white handles, which had a fire inside. The Blacksmith was working on a knife, and using his hammer to straighten it on the anvil. The sound of the hammer on the anvil and the smoky atmosphere made the shop feel as if it was transported back into ancient times. There were quite a few finished product hanging ...
